Steve Jobs, Paul Allen. Cancer knows know class, no ethnicity, no race, no religion, no anything. With all the money in the world, the greatest doctors a phone call away, and essentially unlimited resources to beat it, they fell to it. Its so depressing to know that there is so little that can be done to fight it at times. Live each day as your best day, for no one knows what tomorrow will bring.

Actually, Paul Allen was originally diagnosed with lymphoma in 1983, and survived three more decades BECAUSE he went to doctors and got prompt treatment(though it was severe treatment, and included bone marrow transplants).

Steve Jobs, on the other hand, insisted he didn't need surgery to remove his tumor. He resorted to acupuncture and a fruit-only diet as his cure. He delayed treatment for almost a year and turned a "safe" cancer that was slow-growing and caught early into a death sentence because he was conned by alternative medicine snake oil.

Cancer can be fought. In many cases, it can be beaten. But you have to choose to fight it.

According to WebMD it is likely that he did have surgery. But after a Liver transplant he had to take immuno-suppressive drugs which made a resurgence of the cancer uncontrollable.

Although the telegraph.uk reported that he delayed treatment 9 months in 2003 to seek alternative treatments like acupuncture and fruit juices. That is likely where the cancer spread to his liver.

I don't usually scan beyond the headlines so I am surprised I caught this. He was a major player and deserves a headline letting people know that he has passed on. I did not even know he was sick with cancer. Life refuses to let us determine our own fate. While MS was the company people love to hate, it is what most of us used.

Three days later, this is already in the "more stories" section.
    So much for gratitude.

Been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2015, and I was a woman of 50. They put me on Rebif which I took until 2017 and was switched to Copaxone. I had two relapses on Rebif, none so far on Copaxone. I do notice my balance was getting worse, and my memory, as well as erectile dysfunction and spasms’ had no choice to sick for other solution and I was introduce to totalcureherbsfoundation  which I purchase the MS herbal formula from the foundation, the herbal supplement has effectively get rid of multiple sclerosis and reversed all symptoms.
