"Plextor has their new M5S in " , you mean M6S?
What is the difference between 88SS9187 and 88SS9188?
Rather disapiointing. I was hopping for some 1.8GBps PCI-E based SSD.

What controller are the natice PCIe SSD using? A different Marvell controller or does the 9187/9188 support PCIe as well ?
